We briefly discuss the nature of your data failure or requested service and issue a Case Number via email and/or phone. Shipping and Packing instructions along with printed labels are also provided. A Case Number is issued and used to track the status of your service request and to provide you with live updates. Clients can receive a free Data Recovery quote in as little as 5 minutes via phone.

Logging In your Failed Hard Drive or Storage Media

Your Case Number is referenced as RestoreMyData logs in the time and date your failed storage media is received. Your data is irreplaceable, therefore, we highly recommend you insure, track and ship your failed media using a reputable shipper such as Federal Express, DHL, UPS or USPS.

Failed Hard Drive - Failed Media Evaluation

The failed storage media is brought into our Data Recovery lab and inspected. The failed hard drive or failed storage media is then tested for functionality. We utilize our New Jersey and Manhattan Data Recovery services to determine the nature of the data failure.

Free Quote - Emergency Data Recovery Quote

A Free Quote is then communicated to the client via phone or email within 24 Hours. RestoreMyData also offers an Emergency Data Recovery Quote Service for $100. This non-refundable service guarantees a firm quote within 6 hours from receipt of the failed storage media and can be applied as a credit towards an Emergency Data Recovery Service.

Quote Approval

Upon your Data Recovery quote approval, RestoreMyData will immediately schedule your New Jersey and Manhattan Data Recovery Service Request. RestoreMyData will not cover return shipping costs of your failed storage media if you decline the data recovery.

Data Recovery Options

RestoreMyData offers 3 Data Recovery plans. Typically our Standard Plan has a 3-5 Day cycle time, while our Emergency Data Recovery Plan is performed in one day. RestoreMyData also offers an onsite data recovery service for New York and New Jersey.

To protect your storage media, RestoreMyData makes an exact bit by bit image of your failed storage media. Our Data Recovery policy strictly prohibits us to use your original failed storage media to perform a data or forensic recovery. The integrity of your data is never compromised!
